Monstera Thia Constellation High Variegation

The Monstera Deliciosa Thai Con is believed to have originated in Thailand as a mutation from a Monstera Deliciosa. Some have said it was found as early as the 70's, while other research suggests it was found in the 90's or early 00'. Initially, the plant was propagated through selective breeding and cuttings, but tissue culture became the primary method to create the high-demand, speckled variety. 

IDEAL CONDITIONS: 

LIGHT: This species loves bright, indirect light and will do well under full-spectrum grow lights. South or West facing windows with filtered sun are ideal. 

HUMIDITY: Optimal humidity level is around 70%, similar to a nursery. 

TEMPERATURE: Thai Constellations thrive in temperatures between 65-80 degrees F.

WATER: Water when the top half of the potting mix is dry. Avoid overwatering. We use a chunky aroid soil mix with tree fern and perlite and fertilize at every watering.
